Dickson Returns to the Valley

Addicks youngster Chris Dickson has returned to the Valley after his loan spell with Crewe ended.

The 22-year-old will now be hoping to push forward his claims for matches with the Addicks 1st team after impressing during pre season, admitted against some overall poor sides, and scoring two goals.

His time with Crewe will have served him well but it is good to see him back at the Valley and hopefully if he proves himself in the reserves again, which you would expect he will have to first, he can get further opportunities this season as he could have a cracking season to build up his confidence in the Championship ahead of the Addicks return to the Premiership next season!

He is a goalscorer, he proved this for Dulwich before he came to the Valley, as he had in the reserves last season with seven goals in six matches, and as mentioned a couple of goals in pre season.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on young Dickson? Does he have what it takes to make it, would you like him to be given a chance this season or should he go out on loan again? Share these feeling below so we can discuss them.

Another loan might do him good, but at 22 he should be ready for his chance now shouldn't he? Hopefully he will get his chance, so I would like him to stay here this season.

Yeah I'd give him the chance for sure.

I think it is the ideal time to give him a go this season in the Championship, ahead of the Premiership next season.
