The Addicks Striking Options

Alan Pardew has a very interesting selection dilemma this weekend throughout the side, none more so than which strikers does he go with for the trip to Colchester!

Chris Dickson has returned from his loan spell with Crewe, but is the man on the fringes at the moment but Pardew still have four men that will very much feel they could do the job this weekend, and should start, but he can only pick two, well you would assume two, but who will it, or should it be?

Chris Iwelumo is probably the one that you can pen in to lead the attack as he returns to Layer Road looking to haunt his former side, and Svetoslav Todorov will be expecting that his goal as a substitute will see him start alongside him, but Izale McLeod is also pushing for a place, as is fit again Luke Varney who marked his return from injury with a hat-trick in the reserves.

I'm not Pardew, and being honest I am probably glad that I'm not as I could have some pretty angry players giving me the evil eye if I overlooked them, and not just in the striking department, but I would go Iwelumo and Todorov, as Todorov would be mighty peeved should he be left out, and probably rightly so.

So it's Iwelumo and Todorov to lead the line for the Addicks in my opinion, with McLeod and Varney among the subs.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on one this issue? Who would you go for up front this weekend. Share these feeling below so we can discuss them.

I reckon he"ll go with Todorov and Iwelumo, but who ever he goes with they"ll give are back four a tough time.
