A lot has been made about the fact that the Addicks are coming up against Iain Dowie on Saturday, as we go to his Coventry side, but as far as I am concerned it is just another match.
Things were not that great to put in mildly under Iain Dowie when he was in the Addicks hot seat but managers come and go with varying records and degrees of success, so my own personal opinion is he is no exception.
Personally I liked Iain Dowie before he came to the Valley, and although he might have bought in some players that weren't really up to the standard required, and for some money that was far above what should have been paid, I don't dislike Iain Dowie now, I still like the man. Iain Dowie was not the only reason that we went down last season, he might not have helped but a lot of factors went into this and I still think that at another time he could have been the right boss, my feeling is it is a case of right man but wrong time?
What is done is done, this can't be altered the players that Iain Dowie, and others bought in that weren't good enough have been moved on with a whole host of new, and better players with much more desire and commitment for the Addicks coming in. Iain Dowie is now the boss of the Sky Blues, we have Alan Pardew who has us playing some great stuff so it is a case of Iain who in my own opinion.
What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on o the fact that we are coming up against Iain Dowie this weekend? Do you feel like I do, or do you still find it harder to forgive and forget. Share these feeling below so we can discuss them.
