Mills Set for to Extend Addicks Stay

Mills Set for to Extend Addicks Stay

Danny Mills returned to the Valley on loan from Man City over the summer, and with his form being so impressive since he returned he looks set to be offered a longer, more permanent one in January.

Former England international Danny Mills returned to the Valley at the recommendation of Addicks assistant manager Phil Parkinson, who had him on loan when he was manager of Hull last season, and Addicks boss Alan Pardew has revealed how Mills is looking like getting a longer deal: 'My assistant Phil Parkinson had him at Hull and said he did really well there and he was surprised at the level he produced. So when Yassin Moutaouakil got injured at Stoke, we got Danny in because we needed an experienced player at the back because we were leaking goals.

'He's a very talkative player, his information on the pitch has been good and his performances have been great. Now Moutaouakil finds himself with a bit of a problem getting back into the team.'

I've always been a fan of Danny Mills, and I was bitterly disappointed when he left originally but am more than pleased to have him back now and I think he has been excellent since returning.

He's been such a good right back, for the Addicks and other clubs, so I'm really happy to have him back here and look forward to him staying longer. He has the experience and quality that can help us gain an instant return to the Premiership.

agreed, mills has always been a great player, we should try to get him on a permanent deal in the next window, or at least until the end of the season, and who knows, if we go up, he may reignite the career he had for us and leeds.

I think he is already doing that isn't he? (reigniting his career I mean.)
