'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ambrose 'Addicks Can Beat Anyone'

Darren Ambrose says he's confident the Addicks can beat anyone 'on their day' and explains why he's hungry to be in the starting line-up when they face Barnsley this weekend.

'We`ve jumped up to second place now which is cool, and I`d like to think that we have the ability to stay in that kind of lofty position for the rest of the season. I honestly think we can beat anyone in the Championship on our day and if we can retain this kind of form, we will have too much for our opponents to handle more often than not.

'Tuesday night`s win at Hull was quality, but we feel Lloyd Sam was unfortunate to be sent off. He`s laid back and not the kind of lad to get in a fight. The club will appeal, but with the incident causing a big tear up I`m not sure how the verdict will go.'

Good lad :)

ive watched the sendings off a few times, and sam was innocent, and the aftermath wasnt bad either, it looked like most of the players were trying to pull ashbee off our lad, its a shame that ashbee saw fit to assault a teenager who has more talent in his big toes than him...just my opinion...dont think ambrose will get in the side unless semedo is injured or maybe zz...our midfield and attack is golden right now

Yes the midfield is looking very good isnt it, so Ambrose will need to be patient, but he is right we can beat anyone can't we. Also agree on the red card issue.

It's looking very sexy I must say, footballing wise yeah :) We can beat anyone I'm sure of that - just so confident and happy at the moment with the team. Ain't the manager just great? :D
Pardew is Sexy
The manager, the players, the attitude, the fans, the coaches etc. etc. it's all good.
Charlton Addickt
True, very true :) But for me it always starts with the manager :) <3
