Hornets Visit Changed for TV

The Addicks trip to Vicarage Road when we take on Watford in the New Year has been switched for live television coverage.

The match, our first away game of the New Year, with the current runaway Championship leaders was scheduled for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday 19th January, but has now been switched to 5.20pm so it can be shown live on Sky Sports.

Even though the Addicks have slipped off the pace in the last few weeks it is still believed that his encounter with the Hornets will be a top of the table clash, possibly even a title winning clash so the Sky cameras have been quick to snap this one up.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on this match being selected for television coverage? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

This should be a very good match, so it is little wonder Sky have moved to air this live. As usual with live matches it is good for those that might not have been able to have watched it otherwise, but could make it more difficult for those travelling, however it's not as if we have far to travel.

There's always been goals at the Vicarage between these 2 sides so it was an obvious pick in my book.

Oh my, I remember the game last season - had no nails left at the end!!!!! Good for people up north, like my good self, who cannot get to the matches.

I'm sure there will be goals again, but hopefully more in favour of the Addicks :)
