Lets Get Back to Winning Ways

Alan Pardew is looking for his Addicks side to get back to winning ways this Saturday after the disappointing defeat on Tuesday evening.

After being put to the sword against Sheffield United at the Valley on Tuesday Alan Pardew is looking for this disappointment to be quickly forgotten and maximum points taken from Burnley when the Addicks stay at the Valley this Saturday: "It was a disappointing night on Tuesday, but I don't think that's a problem in terms of confidence for Saturday. We just have to wash it away quickly," Alan Pardew told the Addicks website.

"We're in decent shape for the game and the league table might be looking prettier on Saturday night than in midweek."

The Clarets had a good win of their own on Tuesday, but you would hope and expect that the Addicks would bounce back quickly after the defeat to the Blades. It is important that another run of defeats (as we saw in October) doesn't happen again.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Alan Pardew's thought? What sort of reaction are you expecting against the Clarets? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

The Clarets will not be easy opponents at all but a good response to the 3-0 defeat against the Blades must be had, and I do expect this.

Oh well another defeat! I do like Owen Coyle - I remember him as a player - top bloke! And clearly a good manager - maybe he should get the Scotland job eh? He's managed to beat Watford and now us in a short space of time! All I can say, is well done.

I think the fans are pleasantly shell-shocked,we cant believe that one man can turn this round in only three games! Hes either exceptional or is enjoying a healthy dose of beginners luck
