Weaver a Happy Addick

He may have once had a "history" with Addicks fans prior to coming to the Valley but Nicky Weaver is happy with the way his Valley career has started.

Since signing for the Addicks Nicky Weaver has been in splendid form and he has said that he is happy with this. Before signing for the Addicks he had had a run in with us fans during his Manchester City days so he was eager to get off to a good start, as he has and is overall happy with his own form so far: "When I came to the club I was quite eager to get off to a good start because the fans hadn't been too kind to me in previous years and I feel I have done okay so far," Nicky Weaver told the South London Press.

"We're just about halfway through the season now and I'm relatively happy with how I've done, but there's always room for improvement."

The time wasting accusations seem a long time ago now don't they. I think that he is being a little modest though isn't he (I have him down as quite possibly the player of the season so far?) as he should be more than happy shouldn't he really.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Nicky Weaver's comments and his form for us so far? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

Weaver has been outstanding since signing for the Addicks, much better than he is giving himself credit for (or lack of.)
