Injuries Add to Pardew's Woes

Do you ever get that feeling that luck is against you? Well Alan Pardew does after another three injuries were picked up against West Brom on Saturday.

Chris Iwelumo picked up an ankle injury but managed to stay on to open the scoring for the Addicks, before being forced to limp off on the stroke of half time just after the Baggies equalised. Skipper Andy Reid and Darren Ambrose joined him in the second half with having to come off with injuries, something that Alan Pardew is more concerned about than the actual 4-2 defeat itself: "The injuries are a bit more concerning," said Alan Pardew.

"We're not sure what (Andy) Reidy's done yet but he has hurt his knee and (Chris) Iwelumo turned his ankle. Both are doubtful for Saturday and maybe (Darren) Ambrose as well.

"And that's probably a bigger blow to us than the result."

The injuries and suspension have been mounting up; so hopefully some of these injury problems can clear up before Hull come to the Valley on Saturday, however it looks like Andy Reid and Chris Iwelumo will miss out for starters?

This is not what is needed at all is it, even less so with the very busy Christmas and New Year period coming up.

a testing time but promotion challengers should be able to handle situations like this if they are good enough to go up. Curbs did when we won the league last.

True Jimmy, we'll get through this patch, the true colour and make-up of the side will be known by how we cope with this won't it.
Charlton Addickt
I hope we get through this 'patch', I really do. We've had the winning streak, so what's stopping from having it again? I guess it will CA - just hope we have the right frame of mind and correct attitude.
Pardew is Sexy
We will, I wish we could start to learn to "draw" as well as either winning or losing though.

Haha very true, very true :)
