Charlton Athletic vs. Tranmere Rovers

The Valley

Return To Winning Ways?

Charlton will be looking to bounce back from Monday's disappointing home defeat by Leyton Orient.

With Leeds slipping up the following night at Swindon it was very much a case of an opportunity missed.

Tranmere have a poor record on the road with draws at Oldham and Huddersfield and a win at lowly Wycombe being the only points they have picked up in thirteen attempts.

An early Jason Puncheon goal was enough to defeat them at Milton Keynes last week.

Vital Quotes:

Charlton Athletic Team News:

Phil Parkinson will probably opt to make a change or two as he tries to get the Addicks back on track.Sam Sodje has now served his four match suspension and will probably replace Manuel Llera alongside Chritian Dailly.

Leon McKenzie may also start his first game for the club on the problematic left hand side of midfield. However, loanee Kyel Reid, signed from Sheffield United until the end of the season, is a natural left winger and will go straight into the squad.

Player to watch: Deon Burton

Tranmere Rovers Team News:

Les Parry may adopt a defensive formation in an attempt to stifle the home side.

Player to watch: Craig Curran
