Charlton Must Bee Better

Charlton gave an abject display at Griffin Park in the league game at the beginning of October and will be looking for a much improved performance this time.

The two teams had contrasting fortunes at the weekend, Brentford had an excellent win at Southampton while the Addicks were woeful against bottom club Walsall.

Charlton looked leggy and Phil Parkinson has confirmed that he will changes. Tomorrow's victors will face either Bristol Rovers or Exeter in the JPT area final. The winner of that two-legged contest will face the Northern area winners at Wembley so Parkinson will have to balance that potential moneyspinner with the need to keep his team fresh for the league campaign.

The match coming just 48 hours after the Walsall game is hardly ideal but after the disappointing performance, the manager will probably be pleased to have an early opportunity to get back on course.

A difficult game which will test Charlton's mettle.
