Charlton Athletic 1 - Carlisle United 0

The Valley

6 April

Attendance: 17,229

Easter Maximum For Addicks

Charlton took advantage of a Carlisle side, ravaged by injuries, to complete a perfect easter.

In truth, the margin should have been greater than the solitary Sam Sodje goal, thundered in from a corner just before the interval.

Darren Randolph was a virtual spectator as the Addicks squandered chance after chance in the second-half. The win keeps Charlton in the hunt for the coveted second place spot.

Star Player

Lloyd Sam, the provider of many of the untaken chances.

A good Easter for us, now we've got to make sure we apply the pressure to others and not make these back to back wins pointless in many ways.

The Southampton match is the key one really isn't it. If we get that win we could be left in the driving seat? Should this happen we must make sure keep the advantage!
