'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Milton Keynes Dons 1 - Charlton Athletic 1

A poor first half performance was followed by a much improved second period at Milton Keynes last night.

A disputed penalty, given for a foul by Solly on Lewington, allowed Shaun Williams to give the hosts the lead.

The introduction of Danny Green and Yann Kermorgant midway through the second half was decisive. Green's skill saw him sprint away from Dean Lewington and supply the cross for Kermorgant to level things up.

There were chances at either end and Ben Hamer had to make a couple of smart stops.
