Charlton Athletic 2 - Huddersfield Town 0

The Valley

28 November 7.45pm

Attendance: 18,029

They Hudd A Good Run

Huddersfield's magnificent, record breaking run came to an end at The Valley last night as goals from Yann Kermorgant and Hogan Ephraim saw the Addicks stretch their lead at the top to seven points.

A free-kick on the left was fired in by Danny Green for Yann Kermorgant to head home. Green had a hand in the second as well, taking a quick throw to release Bradley Wright-Phillips. Ian Bennett bravely foiled the striker but the ball came out to Ephraim who threaded a shot past the covering defenders from the edge of the box.

Kermorgant was stretchered off late on but the early signs are encouraging, he could be back in time for Walsall.

Star Player

Danny Green, supplier supreme.
